Who makes the best AR15 ?

I'm shopping for my very first AR15 rifle and I don't know much about it.In the service I used the AKM (AK-47) Romanian made.I'm looking for QUALITY and MIL SPECS for my new AR15.I'd rather spend a few extra $$$$$ and get it right the first time.What do you say? COLT or BUSHMASTER ? Thanks !

Who doesn't like AR's? Not trying to sound like an AH, but it is one of the coolest guns going, not to mention very functional and capable.

First off take off the cap lock.

Second, do they come with a maid for the self cleaning part?

I'd put my DI 14.5" M4 LMT up against any LWRC in a accuracy contest, also it's been 100% reliable with any ammo I feed it and it's ate alot of differant kind.

It is only right that everyone thinks theirs is the best. If you are happy with it, fine, if not, it is the most easily tweaked system out there.

Personally, I think mine is best because I built it. From the lower off my milling machine, with no ser. no. or paperwork, to the LMT barrel.

Like I said, if you like it, it is the best.

If you're keeping the gun stock---- Colt FTW. It's not even close.

However, if you're going to change internals, there's really no difference between the two. Bushmaster u/l receivers are good quality and can be had with the M4 feedramps.

Otherwise, I'd build a lower, get an M16 BCG, and grab whatever kind of upper from BCM that you think you want.
