10 Gauge. Is it worth it?

Did anybody ever make a mag tube extension for the Ithaca Mag 10, or is three shots of 10 gauge all that most mere mortals can handle?

I don't think the design of the Mag 10 lends itself to extension tubes. But here's a +4 for the Browning Gold.

I had a Mag 10 that I used for waterfowl. Ammo is sketchy but you can reload for it. I still have the components.
The 10 gauge has a shorter shot column and tends to give better patterns than the 3 1/2" 12 gauge.

One of the guys I used to hunt with had his Mag 10 Ithaca barrel shortened and choke tubes added and it was just like Remington SP 10 when they came out. Good for waterfowl but then non toxic was made law and ammo difficult to come by. Reloading is by far the best way to keep a 10 gauge fed with ammo that works well. MEC had the best and easiest reloading for shot shells.
