Which do you prefer Conceal or Open Carry?

I'm sure someone has probably tried. Several Serpa models have been recalled. Also, a lot of firearms training facilities will not allow Serpa holsters in their training classes. LE agencies have also banned or replaced Serpa holsters. They're junk and unsafe. If you don't understand that, I can't help you.

I dont use plastic holsters, just this type. I've been through the ringer and never lost a gun.

I guess all Glocks should be recalled due to the Glock Leg phenomenon... I seem to recall a video of either and ATF or FBI agent shooting himself during a presentation in a school classroom.

That DEA agent wound up suing the DEA because the video got released and embarrassed him making him the laughing stock of the internet and in person. He could not get away from it. He would go places and people would say *aren*t you the guy who shot himself in that video*.

The lawsuit was tossed out by a judge.

Never said there was anything wrong with Glocks...in this thread. They do suck, but for different reasons, and everyone already knows that. No one is banning Glocks, because in a proper holster, they are just as safe as any other handgun. The issue is with the design of the Serpa holster. It's very design puts an object in the path of the trigger. That makes it inherently more dangerous than your average holster. Most people DO NOT TRAIN. And even people with training have managed to have an ND using a Serpa holster. That is why they're banned by many LE depts and training facilities.

He should have gone to a rival pistol maker and advertised how unsafe Glocks were. LOL.
