The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

Ruger 10-22 aftermarket extended charging handle binding fix

I bought an extended handle, marketed by TACBROUSA. Installed, it would bind solidly. Fussing with it for four or five hours, I finally hit on the fix. Using a center punch, I eliminated the shake where the guide block inserts into the bolt slot by center punching to expand the edges. Then I enlarged the guide rod hole a few thousandths with a # 28 drill. Unable to cock, the handle no longer binds.
