    Default Gunsmith for MG 42

Looking for a reliable gunsmith for an MG 42 parts kit rebuilt by a friend with a semi auto receiver but is having recuperator issues. I am in the Poconos area.

Perhaps give these guys a call, if they don't probably can recommend a smith that does the work. this link is to the services page, check out the guns they build and sell, they have some new reproduction 45-70 gatling guns for sale, and some very nice Springfield 03's, they are in Ephrata PA

The absolute best guy right now for semi and full auto MG42 builds is Lewman Arms.

Other guys you could call would be Ice House Manufacturing or Veronesi Gunworks. These are very challenging guns to build, and it's not uncommon for them to take 80+ hours to build and tinker with until they work properly.

I just built one, and I am still learning all the nuance of these guns in semi auto, but if you want to post more about the issue maybe I can offer some suggestions.
