    The man was found Tuesday morning when he didn't return home from hunting.

    40ft is way too high. I highly doubts he even practices at that height.
    My friends father died from falling out of a tree he was pruning. Another friends mother died from a falling branch.

    RIP to this hunter, cant imagine any reason climbing 40 ft high though!

    I don't understand why anyone would be hunting from a treestand without a safety harness.
    Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

    Wonder if it isn't a misprint.
    I.climb 20 and that's plenty high.
    Only reason for that is I can't sit still and deer have busted me at a lower height.


    It's a shame.

    Wonder what the circumstances were?

    No belt? Slipped? Fell asleep?
    Climber failure? Ladder failure?
