As others have said, I carry iwb about 3:30/4 o'clock. Most comfortable way I've found. Currently I'm carrying a G43x either there or in a pocket. Anything much bigger and I go with the owb holster at the same location. For reference I'm 5'10" and sitting just north of 300.

There may be better choices for carry, for me. I have a 1911 full size and
an older Springfield XD, also full size, spare magazines to carry for each.

Although I have an IWB for the 1911 I have only used it twice in about 10 years.
It's just too uncomfortable. If I had to carry concealed and/or IWB full time I'd
be looking for something more appropriate. And comfortable.

There was a time not so long ago when I topped out at 370lbs. Way too big.
These days, at 6'2" I'm down to 235 and working my way to something under 210.
I carry both pistols OWB right around 3:00 right side. Spares on the left also OWB.
No, not at the same time.
Maybe I should say "each pistol".
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
