Default NE Extension Tanker Truck Fire

Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike had been closed near the Lansdale exit due to a tanker truck that caught fire.

That's a nice field of debris strewn around there.

    Hope no one got hurt.

I wonder if this could be filed under "spot the asshole".

I think I read that there were three deaths, including the truck driver.

I saw some little car attached to the front of the truck. I wonder if he did something dumb. It's a real shame, life is short enough. Every time I go out I see some idiot that people need to actively avoid to not have an accident.

The pic of the burned vehicles showed them on the side of the highway, but the article said the driver with the flat.tire who survived stopped in the right lane.

If you look at the start of the debris field, it looks like the initial impact was in the right lane, and they ended on the shoulder.
