I think most people don't shoot as much as they think they will. Even with my own range I probably spend more time maintaining it than shooting on it. Mowing, weed eating, pole sawing, keeping the building clean, etc.

Stopped at Dunham*s today, they had full shelves and some sales, 9mm 13.99, not great but not bad if you want some locally. I picked up some CCI subsonic 22 12.99 100 on sale and some CCI 22 standard velocity for 4.99 box of 50.
    Today was a good day!

$5 for a box of .22RF is 2.5x what it was before Obama took office.

So is everything else. I could get some cheaper stuff but I like this for my handguns with suppressors.

I still have plenty of cheap stuff I bought long ago that will last me a long time.

You can get .22 for about 5.6 cents if you buy in bulk. It's shitty ammo, but you can get it.

You can't use Dunham's to gauge prices - they have ALWAYS been absurdly high.
Their sale prices are higher than you can buy in box quantity pretty much anywhere else.

I'm happy they are still around and that they haven't ditched their guns and ammo products, but that place exists to sell to people who don't know any better.

I don*t buy from them often except for 22 once in a while, their cci standard velocity is same price as Walmart and they*re the only ones local that have subsonic 22. I*ve never once ordered 22 online because majority of what I have I bought at Walmart years ago when they had best price around.

The 9mm they currently have for 13.99 isn*t a bad price if you need a few, but it*s on sale not their regular price.

What*s the difference according to you if they*re still around or not if you never buy anything there?

Point was the shelves were full, last couple times they got cleaned out.
    Today was a good day!
