Might be a little late here but I*d suggest an AK in 5.56 since 5.45 and 7.62x39 has gotten much more expensive and also of you reloads like I do 5.56 is perfect.
That being said a Zastava M90 for rifle length and they come with a nice Russian red furniture set. The M85 if you want a pistol.
Also the Polish Beryl is amazing, made at FB Radom factory.
Both are made in the same factories where they make their militaries AKs as well IIRC.
If you*re willing to tinker to get it running 100% and want to go cheap, a Pioneer AK but they seem hit and miss from what people say. The first 2 I own and love.When ALL else fails...the AK won't !! Emotions...??? emotions are for people who CARE !!!
