Did anyone see the video of the stabbing in NY following the wedding? I think this is a prime reason states should give gun rights a chance. That guy had no chance against the perp with a knife and now he is dead.

Even with a gun his options were limited. He let his attacker get to close. You have to be 21' away to reliably draw and fire on an attacker with a knife.

Sure, but at least you're going to get shots off and he's not going to get off scott free. But the main point I wanted to make posting the video is if there's a guy who is in your face with a knife, like the guy was in the stabbing, a gun isn't necessarily going to help. Don't let threats get that close to begin with.
