Default Are these decent AR mags?

Which of these two would be better? Some of the only ones I've found in stock that look decent!

They're both teflon finished, but I'm leaning towards the black teflon vs. the gray, for appearance's sake.

I've found that the stainless mags are less stiff (I have the exact same CProducts mags listed), but I haven't had any problems with them.

Aluminum mags are made from thicker material, of course, so that contributes to the stiffness, especially in the mag lips area.

I believe either of these products will perform well, and are unlikely to present any problems in an otherwise properly functioning firearm. If you store your mags properly, corrosion shouldn't be a problem.

I'd avoid the stainless magazine. Aluminum doesn't rust either and the fact that the SS body is "thinner" makes an already "damage prone" magazine even more vulnerable.

    Go straight to the source:
    http://www.cproductsllc.com/shop/index.php?cPath=22_29

The problem is, their online shop doesn't show stock status, so maybe give 'em a call.

I decided to exercise patience and get in on the $9.95 pre-order deal at AIM for the 30 rounders. Their phone is perpetually busy, but I got through after the 25th try or so.

I've heard less than stellar reviews on the CProducts stainless mags...their Al mags with the magpul followers seem to run well though.

Yeah that seems to be the trend that the SS are less than optimal. Well, shit. Guess I'll just have to B/O good mags from somewhere. I wish I would have gotten into AR's a little earlier so I would have had time to prepare for the post-Obama shortages!
