Default Gun store outrage of the day: Shooters Den in New Mexico

In New Mexico A customer over the age of 18 built a gun with a polymer80 which is completely legal. He went into a shot to buy some Glock mags. He brought the gun in and the guy saw that it was not serialized. He said he did not think it was legal, he would not give it back, and if the customer left now he would not report his name to the ATF.

The owner talked to the atf and found that there were no laws being broken. The rest of the story is in the video.

That toad sounds like the kind of motherfucker that needs to have his establishment broken into and thoroughly cleaned out!

It*s funny you mentioned this. I tried checking the veracity of the story before posting and this article about the store being broken into was the first thing that came up. https://www.koat.com/article/albuque...rized/33540091

Well perhaps that's a bit extreme but he needs to pay dearly for confiscating the kid's property....whichever laws he violated needs to be addressed...and wtf is up with the police never showing up after they were called?

F-ing fudds. They should have their ffl revoked. I"m surprised the atf didn't roll up on this kids house and shoot his dog.

Update to the story. The gun store owner has given the gun to the police. Supposedly the police will give the gun back without it being serialized. The person who had his property stolen by the gun store is still pressing charges.

Btw*. Apparently the gun store owner called the guy who he stole the gun from work to get him in trouble before realizing that he was in the wrong. Sounds like a total douchebag.

It was Shooters Den in Albuquerque New Mexico as a reminder.

If this happened in PA, and a douchebag with an FFL turned a home-built handgun over to police, the police would likely run a PICS check before returning the gun to the owner; which would fail, because the kid's under 21.

No FFL has the legal authority to seize property. If the owner hands it over to go into the bound book, that's different.

The gun store has been scrubbing Google maps reviews.

Like the BBQ place with the shitbag kid who tortured a deer.
