Dont know shit about it but this Meridian Defense brake seems like an ok deal. Used, if you care.

Yeah, that's where I got them. Hard to catch their deals though since they only seem to market their wares on Facebook.

That Ebay one is a good price. Wrong thread pitch though - I need 5/8x24

I don't think I've seen any mention of increased recoil when using a blast shield over a flash hider.
Three different videos specifically noted a slight increase in recoil with the shield over the brake.
Bare flashhider will recoil the same as a brake with shield.

Right. The shield cancels out the effectiveness of the brake.

I think we're on the same page. Ha.

Yes but imo becomes a more effictive flash hider.

Meh. The night shooting vids I saw seemed to throw some flash out the front vs no flash at all without the shield over the flash hider.

Every style is going to have different results though.

Well, there are no Emptymag Approved deals to be had on the 762 Epsilon, so that one is out.
Best I could find - Classic has them on sale for $60 - plus shipping. Pass.

I thought the purpose of a flash hider was to protect the shooters eyes when firing at night, not to hide the flash from the bad guys.

I have one rifle with a muzzle break. It is a M1A scout. I believe you had the pleasure of standing next to me at the pumpkin shoot. You didn't seem to be enjoying it lol.
