Yes. It's off of Keyser Avenue on the north west area of the city.

We have been to this one also. Informational long trip down the tunnel/shaft lots of history .I give this tour a plus also .

I wonder how many times I was in there as a kid...literally a ten minute walk from my house, near the Everhart Museum. It was always nice and cool on a hot day.

Yes, there actually is coal there. Go under it far enough, and you'll be in the PA Coal Company's works.

I forget the name of it but there is/was another mine tour up there that is in an actual former coal mine. You ride down and back in a tram on a cable then walk around and get to see the mine. Does Lackawanna sound right?
