While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I recently traveled from PA to NC. I locked up 2 of my revolvers and ammo in 2 separate boxes. I assume that that was a safe move. However, I was tempted to take my P226 but I don't own a 10rd mag, heck I don't even know is Sig sells one. anyhow can I travel thru MD with my 20rd mag or is that ill advised. thanks!

You have no need for a 10rd mag, as none of the states you mentioned have a 10rd limit.

You may have your 20rd mad secured, correctly, and travel THRU MD, without having obtained your MD Wear & Carry Permit

It really isn't that difficult to obtain your MD Wear & Carry Permit, BTW.

MD will not allow 10rd mags to be purchased in MD, however MD residents can purchase 10rd mags while out of state (MD), and then return to MD legally.

I realize this makes little sense and seems bizarre, but that's how it works.
