    Default Semi-Auto Problems

Got a TurkShit semi-auto shotgun. Won't feed 00 buck (1325 FPS) or #4 buck (1330 FPS) to save its miserable life. It will, however, feed #4 shot (1330 FPS) pretty well. All 3 are high brass and brand-name. Have 4 magazines, same problem occurs with all of them.

I've probably got 100-120 rounds through it. First time I was trying it with the buck, wouldn't cycle worth a crap. I was getting nose-up misfeeds and double-feeds (not ejecting, next round is out of the magazine/trying to go into the chamber). I did not bring any of the #4 shot with me the first time.

Took it apart when I got home, the o-ring looked like the Challenger's, got a new one. Took it out again this morning. Not sure whether it would've cycled the #4 shot before, but regardless, still not cycling the buck.

WTF is going on here? Any input? Almost thinking of just drilling the gas ports a little bigger...

I haven't called the company yet, but they only offer a 1 year warranty. I got busy with other things and have never had a problem with a new gun so I wasn't in a hurry to test fire it, and the warranty has since run out.

Yes, it is the first and last TurkShit I ever buy.

Try running gas piston wet with oil may seal better and cycle. Giving make and model may help if someone else has same model tricks

Buddy had a similar issue, would only feed 3" shells, period.

Which turkshit shotgun? I have the ati bulldog and it eats anything I throw at it. My buddy had the panzer because he cuold save $20 over the bulldog, and it doesn't feed worth a crap.

Take it apart as much as you can and give the internals a good cleaning. Expect to find some metal shavings from the rough machining and maybe some sand. Smooth any obvious burrs if it look like they are rubbing. Give the chamber a close look for rough machining and give it a good polish. Then give everything a good coat of CLP and try it again.

Its no fun burning $2 a shot ammo so for the first 25 shots I would use birdshot to try and break it in. Even if they don't cycle making it a single shot.

    Buy a Benelli .....

Seriously gas guns can be finicky as others have said clean the shit out of it and run some cheap bird shot through it , no low recoil stuff . After that if its still not feeding it's time for a gunsmith , or sell the bitch and buy a Benelli .

This video mentions a high and low velocity buffer. ...that hi-vol loads like buckshot and slugs may not cycle properly if you're using the low velocity buffer.

One specific magazine or across multiple magazines?

Does the ammunition have a long roll crimp that is hanging up ?

    All 4 magazines I have.

Not an expert on shotgun crimps, but the crimp on the ammo that cycles looks identical, to me, to the ammo that won't cycle.
