    Default Ground blind safety

PGC book says you have to put a 100 sq.in orange flag near your ground blind, visible 360 degrees. So am I the only one that just hangs a cheap orange hunting vest from a tree? lol

If I still hunted, I'd outfit my blind with armor. Anymore, I think it's safer to hunt from a tree stand.

It's rare that I find myself in a blind during a season where I need to use orange, but when I am, I use the EXACT same thing. Cheap ass hunting vest.

    Hunting Vest

My blind came with triangles that mount to the top

If I use a dog house type I use a vest around a tree and I also have orange ducttape

Trail marking tape works for me, run it around a tree like a barbers pole. I also leave a couple of pieces flapping in the breeze.

Just make sure you do something. I watched a couple bunny cops check on my buddies blind (with orange vest on top) from a couple hundred yards away. They told the farmer they were checking to see if the hunter was wearing orange inside as required (deer rifle season).
