Re: Going to hospital for a few days
Glad to hear breastfeeding is going well.
It didn’t for my wife for the 1st couple of kids, and really contributed to past partum depression."Cives Arma Ferant"

Re: Going to hospital for a few days
He is, I invited him over for drinks. He's a riot.
My wife had nothing at the beginning. Dry as a turnip. But I convinced her to pump every time I fed him by the bottle. It took days and she really got depressed. But then probably 2 days in she got the first drops. 3 days later she was producing a measurable amount. Now we're mixing 50/50 breast milk and formula to get him accustomed to it. What really helped I think was my willingness to massage the tissue to encourage production. I spent a good amount of time on that one, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.
