Re: Going to hospital for a few days
Thank you. 7lb 1oz, 20.5" long. I was able to witness the actual c section while holding my wife's hand. That was something else, watching the doctor pull him out. He was quite animated from the start.
I still haven't decided on his first gun, but I'm leaning towards a Henry lever action 30-30 in brass.

Re: Going to hospital for a few days
I'll tell you what, I found the golden cure for insomnia. I would give just about anything to be able to shut my eyes right now but I have a feeding coming up at 2:45, and have to be ready in case he wakes up early. My wife needs to sleep some time, so I have the night shift. I forgot to ask when my sleep time is.

Re: Going to hospital for a few days
Congratulations on the new boy!
This takes us back. We're in our 60's and our grandchildren are in Junior High now.
Speaking as the Dad in the delivery room, I can still vividly remember watching
our kids being born. I was there for every minute of labor as well.
I really think it's just one of those things a person can't help but remember.
Of course, Mrs. Curmudgeon's recall is at least as good as my own! While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
