Re: Tanner's sold - new owner
I was told by someone who would probably know that their prices were adjusted up because the new owners wanted higher profit margins. Not sure if that meant used & new. I haven*t been there in awhile, has anyone noticed this?

Hard to say with prices going up everywhere. Do you know of a gunshop that didn't raise their prices in the last 6 months? Since Covid I have been thinking everything is high and overpriced but what can you do.....
They did have an AR on the wall for $380 and thats the lowest I've seen there. Didn't get a chance to ask about the manufacturer.

Re: Tanner's sold - new owner
So I just read the news that Tanner's is one of 3 shops being sued by the city of Philadelphia via Everytown for gun safety's legal arm. They claim repeated straw purchases and guns from their store being found on philly streets. bottom line is that they're trying to legal fee them put of business.
Came here to see if anyone had anything to say about it and find out that Ray sold the business.
Quite a shame to see things go like this. I drove all the way there from west chester to buy 3 or 4 pistols from them.
The other 2 shops, I've never heard of.

Came here for the same reason. Guess I will go buy a gun to help them with their legal fees.

Re: Tanner's sold - new owner
The new owners are good people. I never spent more than 350$ at once, they were always first class with me. I noticed that the staff stayed the same, so that's another plus.
