Beautiful.
Did you get a F/A or the popular sporter model?
In either respect it is truly a work of art.
Next on the list should be Trench coat, pin stripe suit, love for martinis and a growing addiction to Cigars.

Re: My new Thompson 1927A1
its the semi auto model...I wish I could afford the full auto...I got this one brand new for $890...a fully auto one would be 10 times that...good luck trying to find one now...my dealer had to call several distributors to find one and I got the last one on the shelf...guess they are starting to get a little back ordered

Damn neighbor, nice buy!! I wonder what accuracy it is capable of?
Be safe (and nostalgic).

Re: My new Thompson 1927A1
I have a question for anyone that can answer it. I have a friend of mine that won one at a gun bash... It came with the drum mag.
How many rounds can the drum mag hold? I assume the rounds are 45ACP?
He's never fired it, and doesn't know much about it.
Where can this beauty be used (legally)?
Thanks!

Re: My new Thompson 1927A1
that's a tough question as they make 3 different drum mags...a 10-round, 50-round, and 100-round...it is 45 ACP...but you can use them at whatever range allows...some indoor pistol ranges even allow them because it shoots the pistol caliber...till him to get out and shoot although it does get expensive...1000rounds of 45 ACP is over 400 and you'll go through it quickly

Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.
