    what kind of jams?
    FTF, FTE, double feed?
    what kind of ammo?

the main ar problems involve bad mags or poor lubing/cleaning

sure you're not shooting a dry gun?

I had two problems and mine were failure to feeds.
    1. Not enough lubrication
    2. Gas block not sealing, blow back shooting out of the front of the gas block - (soft cycle, bolt no going back far enough to strip a new round on the way back forward.

    Its fine now.

    How is it jamming?

H-buffer, crane extractor upgrades, and magpul followers.

If the carbine does not already have those, they are worth adding.

My bushmaster had FTE and double feed issues related to FTE when I first got it. I contacted Bushmaster and they told me to break it in with 5.56 instead of commercial .223 ammunition. The reason I was given, is that the parts in the gun, aside from the obvious that you can't buy without a class 3 license, are the same parts that go into their military and law enforcement contract guns. So they put in the same heavy buffer spring in commercial firearms that they put into military and law enforcement guns to handle the full auto (burst) capability while using 5.56 ammunition.

So I put about 300 rounds of LC XM193 through the gun and I haven't had a problem since with any commercial ammunition. The pressures are a bit higher with the 5.56 than the .223.

Also check the Gas key. BM is known for not properly staking the bolts and this can cause the gas key to work loose causing short stroking and failure to feed. This along with what Synergy suggested and you ought to be GTG.

I guess he got it fixed. I wonder what was causing the problem? Don't you hate it when a thread just fades away without resolution?

As the other poster said, you need to elaborate on "jamming", as different jamming issues mean different problems and solutions.
