Spouse DUI and my firearms
I’m confident one of yinz may have experience with this predicament I am currently facing.
My wife got a DUI several months ago and got into ARD, probation starts tomorrow. Her lawyer casually informed her today that there cannot be any firearms in our residence. Can anybody confirm this is correct? Anyone had to deal with this bishi?

Sounds like BS. Maybe two DUI's in a certain time period.

I don't know but I would think that having them locked up should suffice.

I think they can. It will be a condition of probation. However once the probation period is complete so will the restriction.

Re: Spouse DUI and my firearms
I think what the attorney is referring to is a "condition" of her probation. When on county probation or state parole, most agencies state you may not own or possess any firearms or weapons. This is a condition which the probationer/parolee "agrees to" when accepting probation/parole in lieu of incarceration.

Re: Spouse DUI and my firearms
A quick search of Chester County Probation Rules indicates that anyone on probation is prohibited from residing where firearms are present.
Be aware, probation can search your house at will

Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
