Now Dan had said he couldn't do it (understandably so) because it really wasn't gun related and I decided to build a site devoted to the idea.

Well after a month of coding my butt off I would proudly like to announce the site is done and open!

The URL is http://helpingkind.org

Please take the time to check it out, sign up, post a help request or an offer to help. This site is a community just like PAFOA is so we need people to come in and join.

Most of all we need EVERYONE to tell anyone and everyone they know about this site. As I said before we have to build a community there starting from scratch.

Lastly I would like to thank the following people for testing the site and making suggestions:

Tootie (for putting up with me coding 14 hours a day)

andrewjs18, soberbyker, gnbrotz, jmiro, headcase, edstephan, soup, mojo & normanvin ... I'll be repping you all as soon as I can!

Without your good eyes, beating the site up and great suggestions the site wouldn't be what it is.

So there is is folks, there to use and help each other out like a community should! I will be making updates and adding new sections to the site as time permits (have a whole list of new ideas) but first and foremost we need to get the ball rolling!

OH and BTW for all you people that tested, I emptied all the database tables out before I opened it up so if you had a request or an offer that was not a test please drop back in and re-post it.

Something weird though.
I signed up as God's Country.
The user name came back as God, but to log in I needed to use God's Country

I was very impressed with the set up. Are the accounts we set up to test working as a accounts or do we need to set up new accounts? I also like the fact it is not really set up like a message board.

Its peculiar, mainly because 90% of my abilities revolve around a specific genre of vehicles. Its what I do for a living... I hope that's ok. If not, take it down.
