Default .223 powder that flows well through the measure?

I'm going to begin reloading for .223, and I'm wondering what powders:

    1. Work well under 55gr FMJ and 69gr Sierra bullets
    2. Flow well through a volumetric (Lee auto disk) powder measure.

Hodgdon H335 Worked perfect in my Lee auto DIsk Setup.

I don't use a Lee but I run Win 748 through a Lyman measure. Works very well.

    hey,

I use Varget for the 69 grn loads and am shooting 3/8" groups. We have an 8" gong at 460 yards and it hammers it regularily.
4198 under the 55 grainers seems to do miracles. Gophers at 250 - 300 yards with 55 grn BlitzKings are amazing. The BK's hammer harder than 50 grn Grenades.

Varget is an incredible powder that fills the cases well. It seems to be chopped quite short and meters great through my Dillon.

    Hope that this helps.

I've got a Loadmaster and have been using BL-(C)2 in my Auto-Disk and it flows well. Pretty consistent charges from full to empty. I use it for loading 55gr. FMJ's.

I have used over 100 lbs of WC844 with great success.

varget dont meter quite as well as a ball powder, its an extruded powder and sometime they tend to crunch, I was using varget but Ive been having better luck with H335, it flows like water, my rounds that are loaded on my hornady L&L AP are with in 25 FPS each bullet not bad for loading on a progressive press.

I've heard good things about BLC(2) for .223, how does it measure?
