Because the rino fudds still hold sway is one reason. Another might be the fraidy cats that just can*t find the courage to pull the lever for anything but an establishment candidate- Trump being the one time exception. You*ll recognize them by their constant bleating * if you don*t vote for X, then you*re de facto voting for Y.*

Two things I*m thinking:
I do not sit on the sidelines, I vote because it is my civic duty.
