El Campesino in Altoona has vey good tex mex food and cheap . not to mention some good draft dos equis . The knickerbocker is another place that the kiddies dont swarm till 10 pm .

Not sure if they take reservations, but if so perhaps we could get the little room off to the side (used to be the smoking section).

Since there might be people traveling from 3 counties El Campesino's location is excellent. Less than a mile from the Plank Road exit off I-99.

In order to suit everyone's work schedule perhaps a Friday evening would be best, around 18:00?

Only drawback will be Friday night traffic and perhaps a crowded restaurant.

Just try not to make it a real late event. I work at 2200 at night. So, something about 6 or 7 would be OK for me (or earlier).

If people don't like Mexican (I do) there is alway Eat and Park across the road. Something for everyone. Or HOOTERS next to El's.

Knickerbocker isn't very big. But the beer selection is great. Lots of micorbrews.

There is Hoss's out closer to Holidaysburg. Could reserve a back room for us.

This isn't a drawback. It is a plan ender. Don't even try for a Friday Night in Altoona. Everyone and their brother is eating out on Fridays in that town. Pick another night for sure.

Pizza?? there is CeCe's Pizza next to Wal-Mart.
