I had enough parts here to put a few more 10/22 rifles together and topped this one off with a cheap night scope and added a suppressor for a finishing touch.

Went to Oaks and grabbed this '45 Garand, despite ironically selling a fellow member a Garand earlier in the week. Nothing really screamed out to me, though I was kinda also looking for an M1 Carbine. Maybe I'll trade this for a Carbine in a few months. It has a 1945 receiver, but the bolt, op-rod, and trigger are all early/mid war production. Barrel is a '53.

I also bought four boxes of surplus MKE .30-06 though now I'm reading that the surplus MKE stuff has a questionable reputation so I guess thats gonna go through my M1917 if I ever decide to shoot it.

Did the same with MKE when I got mine. So now it sits in the can.

Best deal I found so far is PPU bulk packed "Garand rated" 30-06 off Gunbroker. Bagged not boxes in maybe 100 or 120 round lots (forget ct), but came out to well under $1.00 per round shipped last time I bought some.

Had a custom holster made for the steyr. Great quality and fair price. Took sometime to get it made and he needed my gun to make a mold. Apparently not a lot of guys CCWing a C9.

That is correct! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I am excited to try it out.
