Adams Co. LTCF Application

My wife mailed in her application three weeks ago. Haven’t heard anything yet. At what point would it be prudent to call and inquire if the application was received, in process, etc? We don’t want to irritate anyone if it is just caused by a backlog, but don’t want to let it fall through the cracks either.

IIRC, when I got mine about two years ago, I got a call from the Sheriff’s office in about two weeks.

The law allows them 45 days to complete the process. Many offices do it much quicker than this, but I personally would not make an inquiry until the full 45 days have passed.

Delaware County is 1 of the offices that takes the full amount of time, heh.
