    Default ammo prices

Has anyone else noticed that the price of ammo, primarily .223, went up about 25% since the election. I was looking at 1000 rnds of S&B at Midway that went from $349 to $399. At CTD 600rnds went from $399 to $499.

For those who want to know if you want to or should reload or if it would be worth it. Either buy your ammo while you can or buy supplies so you can when the ammo runs out or gets to pricey.

Default Ammo prices rise after election!!!

I was just on ammoman where I had ordered some ammo last week. I wanted to get some more considering I though prices would rise soon. THey already have gone up $50! Besides ammoman is no longer accepting orders until the catch up. They have recieved 800 orders a day since monday and are 2000 orders behind in processing and shipping. THis is rediculous!

I was just at the shop up by my house and bought a 200 round pack of Privi M193 for $75. Thats the same ammo I gave you a box of at the group shoot. $75 for a 200 round pack or $360 for a case of 1000 rounds. Thats not too bad. As I bought it we were discussing how in the last week everything has become scarce....
Oh look.......I have these three extra empty mags I can load up now!! haha J/k.......

Remembering when you could get a box of 20 in .223 or 7.62x39 for $.99 before KLINTON I, I suppose we'll remember these, as the days when you could buy a box of 20 in .223 or 7.62x39 for $9.99 by the time the OBAMINATION is done (along with Ben Bernanke ), since it'll probably be $99.99 a box of 20 by then!

I believe that may have some to do with it but I feel its just the 'ol supply and demand. Crap is flying off shelves right now so I feel we are doing it to ourselves.

You are right but there is not a shortage the retailers know we will buy right now and the concern might not even be real

I dont know if thats true or not since I am not a dealer. But I do know that the couple shops I go to have told me they are starting to have a hard time getting things like mags and certain ammo.

Caa2003's Dad has about 2,000 rounds of .223...we'll be good for a little while...got a TON of casings to reload, too.

I think we have close to 4,000 9mm rounds to de-prime, tumble and reload....that'll be exhausting...
