LTCF App lost!

So I contacted my sheriff's office alittle bit ago to ask the status of my application. Only to be told they CANNOT find it anywhere. WTF?! .

How can you either lose, or misplace an application? She wrote down my name wrong when talking on the phone cause she read it back and I was like "no thats wrong" she said "Oh well I looked through everyone with the last name of G and didn't find you. We'll have to call you back.

After talking to another person, they are still unable to locate it. They took my address, name, Phone number, SS number. And told me about another 15mins to wait if they dont call me in 15 mins i am to call them. I asked if I was just able to goto another country and got told "no thats not how it works." Hopefully they find it. *sigh* This is why they should do on the spot things!!!!


Edit: They found it. I was approved yesterday!!!!

I would keep calling or ask to talk to the sheriff, and tell him that your personal info is on there and your identy had been stolen before...see what he says?

Yeah the main guy there I dont remember if he was the actual sheriff or who. However they did approve it yesterday, they just lost it today somewhere. It's all taken care of now, I just have to go get my picture taken. Was a scare though haha.

But they FOUND your actual paperwork, right? I mean, it's not still missing is it? That has a lot of personal information on it.... The head guy (not sheriff) would be his chief deputy I presume.

They found it, apparently it was in the wrong file cabinet haha. I went in before work, the guy I talked to on the phone was waiting for me, got my picture taken and done .

If they tried to get them to change their mind they failed because I got it. I am damn sure they WONT find out I got it haha.

Thank you everyone for the support!!!! *hugs the LTCF* I look drunk/tired in the picture. I didn't get a warning when he was snapping it haha.

I am kind of disappointed I got told "You cannot carry anywhere that has a sign that says no firearms."
