    Default What kind of bugs are these?

    Saw about a 100 of these scattered on a trail today. They looked like poop on the ground at first. I’m guessing they came out of the holes in the ground in the one picture.

    Anyone know what they are?

    Something in the beetle family it would appear. Not sure if it's Paul or Ringo!

    That*s what I stumbled on after looking at the link Streaker posted. Maybe an American Oil Beatle which is a blister beatle. Maybe the Yoko of Beatles?
