WMU 5d Hunting Areas
Since this is the only WMU (5D) in this area that has any doe permits left and I would like to take my son out for both buck and doe hunting...are there any public hunting areas in WMU 5D? I usually hunt the state game lands in 5C and I know there are no state game lands in 5D....any suggestions. Thanks

Re: WMU 5d Hunting Areas
You can hunt archery all over 5D but I only have one place to hunt with a firearm and it is quite private ( I'm not even allowed there). But if you are carrying a bow you can go to Ridley Creek State park ( just be aware of where you can and can't be). If you applied earlier, maybe you still can, you could have got into the Ridley Creek State park 1 day shotgun hunt. Call them for info.
