They come in all kinds of varieties.

Glocks and other striker fired pistols with the only "safety" being part of the trigger are inherently more dangerous and prone to NDs than other pistol designs. They are the worst pistol design for a beginner or casual shooter and should only be used by those with extensive training and a very high level of skill ie SEALS and other tac teams.

Tauruses do not universally suck, despite what the internet suggests. Mine have all been functional if not exactly works of art.
