Reloaded 50 rounds of 9mm 124gr FMJRN using Ramshot true blue. Its the first time I used this powder and it really meters well and looks like you can use it for many other pistol calibers, so I am excited to see how it performs. If it performs how I expect it too I'll be trying it in other some calibers like 38 & 40 cal. The powder has super fine granules and since I use a Dillon Square deal press it's nice to have a single powder for most of the pistol calibers I want to reload.

Yes economy of space and supplies means you have to use powders that work well in many calibers! That's part of the reason I like Hodgdon's CFE-Pistol. It wears so damn many hats and quite well at that!

Finished my test loads today. 40 rounds with the Penn 158 gr coated SWC using CFE-P 7.9 to 8.5 grains. Hope to soon get to the range with the chrono to get the testing done. Just need a day with no rain!

Used the RCBS Chargemaster again. Damn what a difference! Much easier! Much faster! After calibrating the machine I used my little check weights to see how close it was...Right on! I'm impressed because I'd given up electric scales. this seems bug nuts tight!

On the sad side I found a post that said that Bob Palermo the owner of Penn Bullets had died.

I have started to take a look at what I want to reload this winter and started ordering a few things. IF all goes well should have plenty of 300 BO, 7.5 Swiss, 32 ACP, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 9mm and 45 ACP loads to do.

True its one of the reasons I like Hodgdon H-335 for rifles. It can be used in many different rifle calibers and is super accurate in the 5.56, 762x39, 220, 22-250 just to name a few. In the 220 swift & 22-250 its as accurate as H380.

Agree with the reasoning! I thought I'd found winners in Norma powders. I was using their MRP and 203-B for my rifle work. I t was outstanding and I was getting field test results that outperformed book! Now they don't seem to available in the US anymore. Gotta start all over from scratch.

Mucking around today. Didn't actually reload but set up a bunch of dummies to function test in my CZ 75B Shadow. If I can get them to feed reliably in the CZ they'll work in all my 9s including the S&W revolver.

For now using Berry 124 gr. Set at a nominal 1.140" OAL and a factory duplicating crimp all fed from magazine hand racking the slide just fine. No to load up a batch and test fire them. Think I'll use the Ginex primers and make sure they work in Semi and revolver too. Wish me luck!
