More accurate conceal carry
I'm thinking of purchasing another conceal semi-auto. I have had a Taurus Millienium in 9mm; I currently carry a Keltec PF 9. The DAO trigger on both make accuracy very difficult, at least for me. Guess I have been spoiled by my 1911 style Kimber 45. Actually, for DAO only the Keltec is not too bad; the Taurus was just gosh awful. I want something small enough for reasonably comfortable inside waistband carry, but still reasonably pleasnt and accurate to target shoot a little. The small narrow grip in the PF 9 makes it not pleasant to shoot very much. My standard/expectation for accuracy is to be able to consisitently shoot 5 inch group at 15 yards and be enjoyable. I am probably limited to single stack mag. model for concealability. I'm not sure I will ever like a DAO. I been thinking about a Kahr CW 9, but doubt I'll ever be satisfied with accuracy. I'm sure others have been through this conceal/pleasure/accuracy attempt to balance challenge. Would appreciate any suggestions to try out.

How about a Sig 239.

Re: More accurate conceal carry
I'll second a Sig P239.
IMHO, they are the perfect size for IWB carry (single stack magazine) and are incredibly accurate for their size. They weigh in at 25oz which makes recoil very manageable. They come chambered in 9mm, .40S&W, and .357sig

Re: More accurate conceal carry
H&k p7. SAO 3 lb trigger, and Single stack 8+1
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Don't own the sig but I'm sure it's a great gun.
I loved the Para Carry 9. It's got a GREAT light double action trigger.
It's double stack, but I LOVE my new M&P compact. It's really accurate for it's size.

Re: More accurate conceal carry
Agreed with all the above suggestions.
I have been on a CZ kick lately, and am looking to get one myself for a nice CC pistol.
CZ 2075 RAMI (sub compact .40cal 8+1) also in (9mm 10+1)

CZ P-01 (compact 9mm 14+1) I most likely will go with this one.

CZ 75 Compact (10+1)

and the S&W M&P 9 compact is also nice.ZRT -SECTOR-7

Re: More accurate conceal carry
If you can locate one of the following, Kahr K9, T9 or a K40. All fit comfortably IWB, yet have the size, weight and durability for extensive shooting.

Re: More accurate conceal carry
I have a Taurus PT745 Mill Pro and it will shoot 5" at 15 yards, it's still a long way for any 3" gun for sure.
Maybe a Kimber Aegis, it's basically a 9mm 1911, make them in 3" 4" and 5" little pricey.
Or maybe a Para carry 9 or PDA 9mm both are a single stack
Might also look into a Springfield XD9 or 40 subcompact, nice little carry guns, or maybe a Springfield XD 45 compact.Honesta Mors Turpi Vita Potior ~ 3%

Re: More accurate conceal carry
All of the firearms you mentioned are mechanically capable of the standard you provided.
I'd recommend getting some good instruction, then carrying whatever you want. Once you have good trigger finger control, then you'll be able to shoot any of those guns to your standard.
