and in the process i broke my self imposed "no ak's over $600" rule.
ordered an atlantic firearms polish side folder.
should have it in about 3 weeks....which is going to kill me....i'm not real good at waiting for stuff, even worse for firearms.....week i can do, anything more and i get like a crackhead without a fix.


take this thread for example.
i could'nt even wait till the thing showed up to make a post about it.
however i'm not breaking my "no ammo or accersories" till i have the gun rule.

No ammo??? If you can't stop thinking about it and need a little fix, a little ammo shopping never hurt anyone! Best to have it on the way and waiting at home for your rifle rather than pay for it at the store, I say.

In fact, I have some 7.62x39 rounds coming tomorrow and I don't even have a gun that shoots it[yet]. Ordering my Garand this week then hopefully picking up a Saiga 7.62 in two weeks at the gun show.

it will be weeks if not months till i get around to getting it to the range anyway.
so having ammo around now will not be helping anything.
besides i have horrible luck. if i buy ammo now, i garantee that something somewhere will happen and i will not end up with said gun. trust me, dumb shit always finds me.
point in case.
i always, without fail, end up with the worse server when going out to eat....it will never fail.

why Interarm's Tantal is more expensive then my Century Tantal($500), i donno.
But not have to deal with possible keyholing issue that plague Century Tantal, I guess its worth it!

You'll love the Tantal tho. I know I do. I keep telling myself that I should by AK chambered in traditional 7.62 before Obama takes a hole of this nation, but keep thinking "why?"

cheap ammo, low recoil, just as potent zombie killing power then any 5.56 out there(although slightly less accurate), and Oh did I mention ammo is cheap?
Not to mention its an intimidating looking firearm. Something about that cold, menacing mechanical looking flash hider..

and 30rds for $4.50. You simply can't beat that.

they have been using older kits that had original chrome line bores...i guess i dunno??
i was going to get a cai, but thought i'd go all out on one. i can fix most stuff that's wrong with other cai stuff, but a barrel change is more than i want to pay for or do myself.

i like the polish sidefolders cause you can swap back and forth with afixed stocked real easy.
have a bunch of 7.62 ak's, so a side folding 5.54 will fit right in
