    Default Carry in polling place?

I know I saw a thread for this somewhere before but I am going to ask anyway....

Am I able to carry my firearm(concealed) into a the polling place? Yes I do have a LTCF. I just wanted to ask. They are saying there may be civil unrest depending on who gets in and I don't want to take any risks.

Thank you for your help in advance.

You would be legal, except if your polling place is in a school, then it's a gray area of the law. If you do carry in a school (I'm not recommending it), just make sure it's well concealed.

If there is going to be civil unrest determined by who is elected, how would that effect your safety when you go to vote? They wont start rioting until at least noon the next day.

It strikes me odd that in gnbrotz's thread, I defended against those that said "Why do you need to carry at the polls?" and a judge that stated OC should not be done at the polls because it makes us look like a third world country.

    My statement?

There may come a day when a group, or even the government attempts to coerce or threaten people with violence for voting.

    Deja vu all over again.

This isn't Tennesse but it could happen any time any where. Remember Athens!
