    Default Guns N' Things closing

My favorite shop is closing. It is up for sale if anyone is interested. Guns N' Things is located in Penndel, Bucks County. If your looking for some deals now is the time. Inventory is already running low. Since I can't afford them I'll let you know of two sweet deals. One is an Auto-Ordinance Thompson 1911 Commander .45 in nice condition. Offer of 350.00 was made but PICS shot it down. The other is a very tricked out AR with a complete list of build parts and prices. 2300.00 range. Build price was much more. This is a great mom&pop.......well mom anyway, pop is out of the picture. I'll be sad to see them go.

Was down there today. It's a shame they are closing.

Very few long guns left, the pistol cases were practically empty. They are actually ordering more pistols and ammo.

    Why are they closing?

Angry Re: Unresolved Lay Away Money

Does anyone know how to contact the former owner at all?

My father was paying her installments on a gun safe on layaway. They never informed him they were closing. He has been trying to reach them for some time and asked me to check on the net for info on them.

My father has called their old number but just keeps getting an answering machine. Most of the time it is full and can't take more messages.

My father would like to at least resolve the loss of his money in some way if possible. Would have been nice if they called him.

What do you mean PICS shot it down? Are you saying PICS denied it due to the price?

Mary Ann was a pleasure to business with! I used to pistol shoot with Ralph Taylor of Fairless Hills Pa at th Falls Township rifle and pistol club. I wonder if he is still around?

I believe it was Sr. I think he lived in Fairless Hills. He taught me how to shoot and helped me get qualified at the club. I think he used to shoot a lot with a Thompson Contender pistol. I was realy grateful for him helping me as he was the only 1 there that seemed very friendly and I didnt know anywhere there. But he was nice enough to take the time out to show me around. A very nice person!
