To get this started, I carry a Glock 22 on duty in a safariland 295 level 2 holster. I work in Md.

Last i heard PSP is issuing Glocks in .45GAP (37?), Philly PD still uses the Glock 17 and most municipal agencies are issuing some variant of Glock in .40 (22, or 23)

I'm not 100% certain, but i think Pittsburgh also issues some variant of Glock.

Brother-in-Law is a Johnstown police officer. They carry Beretta 96. I think model F, not positive though.

the pittsburgh police definitely carry some sort of glock (prolly 17 or 22)...actually, i've noticed a lot of them carry 2 glocks these day...often in thigh holsters.

not sure which model, though. i love glocks and all, but still can't ID the exact model just by looking at the grip

The weapon in the thigh holster is probably a taser. They resemble glocks, and the thigh holster is how many officers are carrying them. Crossdraw on the duty belt is also being used.

In Philly an officer is issued a G17 but with permission can carry a G19 if they purchase themselves. Also plain clothes/detectives can, again with permission and if they qualify with it, a G26. Wife carries a 26. And after carrying both the 17 & 19 shot her best scores with the 26. Son, suburban dept.officer, carries an issued Beretta 92.
