Re: Marylander STARED at me
Probably amazed at the "blued Colt government in a Tan leather Galco with a matching mag leather mag pouch you were OCing...
My guess is if it was a High Point in a Blackhawk holster he wouldn't have given a shit and you wouldn't have added that info to the discussion.

Re: Marylander STARED at me
Having good situational awareness would lead me to keep an eye on the guy with the gun.
Just saying.

Re: Marylander STARED at me
Must have been something in the air yesterday...
I was OCing in my local food store, as usual, when this guy approaches me and asks me if he could have a second of my time. I said "sure". He then proceeds in stating that he "served and wore the uniform for years" and then diverts to "I also support the 2A and having a "militia" to protect the country, but "you all" are scaring the hell out of "all of us" all across the country". Well, while trying to hold back a chuckle because I so wanted to respond with CONSTITUTION MOTHER FUCKER!!, I instead replied with "I also served our country, for 8 years, and I carry in the defense of my self and of my family". He then just looks at me, sort of half ass shakes his head, and then just walks away.. not a further word. So, with that, I watch him for a few seconds and then go "Oh, by the way, thank you for your service as well.." He doesn't say a word, so I just continue on with my shopping. I did spot him a few minutes later by the customer service area, but that was pretty much the end of that. The rest of my shopping went uneventful as usual.
I did spot him again later sitting outside in his vehicle, parked in a handicap spot none the less. He was watching me, so I let him know that I spotted him by giving him a quick nod.. By the time I had my vehicle loaded and was getting ready to leave, he was leaving as well. This guy had a PA tag though...
OP - Sorry, didn't intend to hijack your post.."If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target"
