Can another state(NJ) hold your PA Gun & permit?
I'm involved in an investigation in NJ but have a Firearm & permit from the state of PA. The judge from NJ ordered my gun & license to be turned over to the state of NJ. Are they allowed to do this & isn't it out of their jurisdiction? OH, FYI there are no firearms charges or violence charges against me.

well for another state to order that there is something going on, i don't want you to divuldge anything that may get you in trouble , but get you a good lawyer and get ready to spend some money.

How would PA law have any relevance on if you must surrender a firearm and LTCF to NJ? Each state is independent and neither maintains legal authority over the other (IMO).
Personally speaking, I could see how NJ might demand your firearm if it were alleged to be part of a crime - and thus relevant to the 'investigation', but I can't imagine how they'd have authority to force the surrender of your LTCF.
Of course, IANAL.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

I will say this only once. Do NOT post anything on the internet that might adversely affect you in a court case. The internet is open for anyone and everyone to read, copy, print, etc., it is public domain. If you post anything that could affect a court case that is entirely on YOUR head. With that warning I suggest that you not post any further information in this, or any other thread, and do any research that you are interested in quietly.
