Default Ruger PC Charger 9mm - just picked it up

was able to score one of these at tanners for $599 no brace... picked it up today...

out of box impression, it's longer than i thought it would be; the front barrel assy contributes to alot of the heft weight-wise.
im going to reserve judgement about the weight until i shoot it - really hoping the aftermarket takes off on this one for lightweight chassis, forend, barrels.

Awesome price for sure if I lived close to Tanners I think I would have one of these right now too. I have a feeling the aftermarket for this is going to be big so I would not worry about that.

Tanner's is worth the trip. Not now, because they are by appointment only. But when the shit settles down and things open up.

i dont disagree honestly i see the pc charger as all about modularity as opposed to form and fit

Agreed. The killer for me is the price+brace price over the standard model. I'd love the standard just with an 8" barrel... But thankfully the NFA keeps us safe from that.

I wanted to like it, but it's too heavy for what it is. Adding a folder would put it roughly at $800. For that price point, I'd rather have something lighter with a binary trigger option.
