Re: Pellet air rifles for fun?
I have a pretty weak Biakal side cocker. Rated at 495. It is accurate and fun to shoot. Still trying to light a kitchen match with it.

Re: Pellet air rifles for fun?
I have a crosman 2289. Added a longer barrel, a steel breech, and a used 4x scope I picked up for $20. It's more accurate than I would expect, adding 6" to the barrel helped quite a bit. Would like to make some more mods, but too many other projects at the moment. I also have a 2240, but it doesn't get as much use.

Re: Pellet air rifles for fun?
I have a Stoeger X20S and loved how quiet it is. Couldn’t get it to shoot for the life of me before figuring out that most springers require the artillery hold. I did it and it works, but it takes a little of the fun out of it.
Maybe a suppressed nitro gun.
Hmmmm......
