When I hang out with people they are they type who help each other out without contracts. If one of us needs a spot loan to buy something we give it and get repaid quickly, no writing necessary. Now if we don't have the money to spot, that's one thing but if you aren't friend enough to help each other out then you're not friend enough for me and apparently the OP has that arrangement and I understand what he is saying. I'm wondering if this wasn't going to be for Knob Creek, which got cancelled and his 'buddy' just said FU to him.

Two things come to mind here.
1) Who writes checks anymore? I guess guys that want a way to stop payment.
2) You want to play ammo broker you have to have the stomach for the risk.

Yuuuuuge sums of money usually involve a check from me and I was thinking about this tread just this week...A decent deal on some ammo came up and a friend and I are splitting the loot. He's a great guy and I know him fairly well so I clicked the 'buy now' while it was available and I know that he won't burn me on it.

I write checks. I use cash too.
