I have heard that CZs, especially the all steel ones, like to run wet. I don't have enough range trips or rounds through this one to verify the assertion yet but a bit of extra oil won't hurt anything.

I know, LOL! I feel the same. I truly love my 1911. It was the first firearm I built AFTER being disabled in an an accident.

Not bad for a half blind, & paralyzed left arm man, huh?

I've started to use my Mantis X trainer again now that I don't shoot regularly. I live a mile from Alburtis R&G and in normal times shoot about 100 rounds weekly there.

Honestly, I’m still looking for a single pistol that has been damaged from the MYTH surrounding dry firing.

It's possible that the owner of the gun forgets to remove the o-ring after they done dry-fire practice. Maybe they practicin' they dry fire and reading they favorite gun forum and get sidetracked by someone with a completely unrelated question to one of they posts. In they haste to respond, they forget all about the o-ring they was usin' and put they gun in they nightstand. Later that night, some villain comes into they house to do some nasty shit to they stuffed chihuahua. OG OP grabs they smokeythebearwaggen and when they tries to respond with loud booms, all they get is sad clicks. Well dang, don't they feel dum?

CZ52. Dry firing can damage the firing pin. Happened to mine. Replaced it with a Harrington firing pin.
