    Well, it is well known that black panthers have been known to cause trouble in parts of Philly, especially around election days...

    Mountain lions lived on badgers. When they at up all the badgers, they starved and died off.

    Who knows anymore. People turn anything loose, or it just gets out. When I lived in Lehigh County we had a couple emus running around. One day I was coming down 309 and I thought I saw a kangaroo laying along side the road. A day or two later I saw in the newspaper that one escaped from the Trexler Game Preserve. About 10 years ago there was a buffalo running loose around the Tamaqua area. Every once and a while someone would report seeing it. Then deer season came along and the reports stopped.
