    Default My trusty Glock 30

I've had this guy for a while.. best, underrated Glock out there IMO.

Pearce PG-30 extension, extended slide stop lever, some kinda plug (can't remember) with my Buck 110 hunter.

I carry a 26. If I was to own anything in .45, a G30 would be on my list of things to get.

I wouldn't mind having a G30. I'd definitely need an SF or Gen4 though because they are pretty portly!

Very nice. I have a 26. Love the 45 cartridge though.

Yup, SF = short frame (talking about the backstrap circumference/trigger reach dimension, not length of grip). From what I understand the SF is the same, reduced grip circumference as the Gen4. So Gen3 G30 > Gen3 G30SF=Gen4 G30. Comes in handy for guys like me that don't have gorilla hands.

Similarly, the 9mm/40S&W frame dimensions were reduced from the Gen3 to the Gen4.

You can see the frame has a little "SF" engraved just ahead of the takedown tab.

Also don't forget about the Glock 30S which has the same frame, but a thinner slide (same profile as 9mm/40 I believe). .
