Shame you are not closer, I just found around 900 in my basement that I did not know I had.

BTW is anyone else having trouble trying to go to ammoseek.com on a computer or is it just me?

For whatever reason, CCI small pistol primers have been in very short supply for the past 18 months.

I prefer them as they are not as fragile as the Federal primers and are nice and smooth to work well in the progressive. I had trouble with the S&B primers on the progressive.

I was down to my last 500 CCI small pistol primers and was looking at having to make the S&B ones work until I opened an ammo can the other day and EUREKA!, filled with CCI small pistol primers. My habit of over the years picking up a box here, a box there, had paid off. Totally had forgotten I had accumulated them over time. I had to stare at the boxes for a minute to verify yes they were CCI small pistol primers.

Here in PA, Grice's always seemed to have the biggest stocks of primers around.

Like in the last bust in 2013-2014 I'm sure gun stores will be marking them up.

There's almost no chance right now except small shops charging $50/1000 or more.

I've heard that. I guess the primary difference is the cup thickness, so some handguns it may work fine and others may be light strikes.

Reason I checked is because a little over a week ago when I saw people saying they were running out, I was still able to order Federal SP, for $33/1000. They haven't shipped yet though, so maybe they were out then, but didn't have their site updated correctly.
